Precision Heating Tune-Up

During a PMG Heating Tune-Up, a technician will:

Test:

Carbon monoxide levels of furnace
Thermostat operation
Ignition system
Safety and operating controls, adjusting as necessary
Wiring connections, tightening as necessary
Temperature rise between return and supply air
Blower motor, lubricating as needed
Voltage and amperage of all motors

Inspect:

Gas valve
Motors, pumps, bearings, and fans; lubricate moving parts as needed
Flue pipe and heat exchanger

Clean:

Burners, adjusting as necessary
Drainage system
Standard filter
Combustion chamber

Precision Cooling Tune-Up

During a PMG Cooling Tune-Up, a technician will:

Test:

Suction pressure and temperature
Discharge pressure and temperature
All safety controls for proper operation
Operation and condition of compressor
Crankcase heater operation
Thermostat operation
Voltage and amperage of all motors

Inspect:

Blower motor and wheel
Condenser fan motor
Inspect and tighten all wiring connections
Evaporator coil
All capacitors for bulges, rust, and leaks
Disconnect box at outdoor unit

Inspect & Clean:

Condensate drain
Condenser coil
Temperature difference between return and supply air
