Precision Heating Tune-Up
During a PMG Heating Tune-Up a technician will:
Test
- Carbon monoxide levels of furnace
- Thermostat operation
- Ignition system
- Safety and operating controls, adjusting as necessary
- Wiring connecxtions, tightening as necessary
- Temperature rise betwen return and supply air
- Blower motor, lubricating as needed
- Voltage and amperage of all motor
Inspect
- Gas valve
- Motors, pumps, bearings, and fans; lubricate moving parts as needed
- Flue pipe and heat exchanger
Clean
- Burners, adjusting as necessary
- Drainage system
- Standard filter
- Combustion chamber
Precision Cooling Tune-Up
During a PMG Cooling Tune-Up a technician will:
Test
- Suction pressure and temperature
- Discharge pressure and temperature
- All safety controls for proper operation
- Operation and condition of compressor
- Crankcase heater operation
- Thermostat operation
- Voltage and amperage of all motors
Inspect
- Blower motor and wheel
- Condenser fan motor
- Inspect and tighten all wiring connections
- Evaporator coil
- All capacitors for bulges, rust and leaks
- Disconnect box at outdoor unit
Inspect & Clean
- Condensate drain
- Condenser coil
- Temperature difference between return and supply air
